Bengaluru/Delhi, March 04, 2025 – In a strategic move to deepen its early-stage fundraising expertise, ValueBridge Capital, part of the Merisis Group, has acquired Boon Capital, an early-stage investment banking firm specializing in venture funding. This acquisition brings on board Garima Seth, Founder & Managing Director of Boon Capital, along with her team, further strengthening Merisis group’s commitment to working with startups across their journey from an early stage to growth stage and beyond.

Garima Seth shared her excitement about the new journey; "Joining Merisis is an exciting new chapter for Boon Capital. With Merisis’ extensive network and resources, we are well-positioned to support startups not only in their early rounds but also as they scale. I look forward to enabling seamless transitions into growth-stage funding through Merisis Advisors’ growth-stage advisory and Merisis Venture Partners Fund, which co-invests in proprietary early-stage opportunities."

Beyond early-stage fundraising, Garima will leverage her deep relationships with family offices to enhance the reach of Merisis Wealth’s offerings, including Merisis Multicap PMS, Merisis Opportunities Fund (Category 1 AIF), and exclusive private opportunities. Her addition further cements Merisis’ position as a leading partner for entrepreneurs navigating the fundraising landscape.

Merisis Group is a full-stack financial services firm with presence across Investment Banking, Venture Capital and Wealth Management. The Investment Banking divisions of the group have advised companies like Ola, Perfios, Ixigo, DriveX, Jayem Auto, CedCommerce, Beato, Stockal, Kissht, Melorra, and others across Fundraise and M&A. Merisis Advisors is also part of AICA Global (Alliance of International Corporate Advisors) and has advised founders on cross-border transactions worth $500 Mn. ValueBridge Capital is slated to unlock synergies on this acquisition given the higher volume of deal-making happening at an early stage as per recent trends.

Founded in 2021, Boon Capital has built a strong track record of securing capital for India-focused startups from leading institutional investors. Garima, with over 20 years of experience in private markets, has been instrumental in raising funds for companies such as RuskMedia (Info Edge Ventures, Nazara Technologies), The Healthy Billion (Blume Ventures, HealthQuad), Gynoveda (Fireside Ventures), Stage OTT, Asiaville (MDIF), Vodex AI (Unicorn India, Pentathlon VC), Flexifyme (IvyCap Ventures), and Emoha (SIS), among others.

Sumir Verma, Managing Director, Merisis Group, welcomed the team, stating: "We are thrilled to have Garima join us at ValueBridge Capital. Her deep expertise in early-stage fundraising and extensive network will help cement Valuebridge Capital leadership position in early-stage investment banking. This expansion also reinforces our presence across three key cities and bolsters our expertise in consumer-focused sectors, particularly in NCR."

About ValueBridge Capital (Part of Merisis Group)

ValueBridge Capital advises founders on their first institutional fundraise from leading institutional investors ValueBride is unique in the sense it focusses only on the Pre-Series A and Series A fund raise from $3 Mn to $15 Mn and does not do later stage rounds. It is done by the parent organisation, Merisis Advisors that helps companies raise growth capital, plan for listings and exits, as well as manages the wealth being created for the ecosystem. ValueBridge signifies bridging this gap while maintaining a distinct identity. Early-stage funding is critical, but connecting with over 100 lesser-known funds and family offices remains a challenge for founders. ValueBridge gains immensely from its parentage. While it is sector agnostic, it leverages Merisis' deep domain understanding of Financial Services, Consumer, Enterprise, Transportation and Cleantech for its vertical understanding – and punches above it weight in helping its clients in crafting their pitch. In a short span of time, ValueBridge Capital has advised companies like DriveX, Kouzina, ClaimBuddy, Riskcovry, The Bread Company, BluSapphire, Moonshine and others.
